Town Administrator Chas Carey is pleased to announce that the Town of Brookline is seeking to fill the position of Recreation
Director.
The Recreation Director will be responsible for coordinating all recreation programs, budget planning, partnerships, overseeing partnerships and staff, and more.
The Recreation Department operates various indoor and outdoor activities for residents of all ages and abilities, working closely with the Recreation Committee to meet goals.
Starting salary is $125,000 and includes comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications of the position include:
* Bachelors in Parks and Recreation, Leisure Studies, Sports
Management, or related field plus five years of recreational management
experience
* Experience in a supervisory capacity over staff, finance and
facility planning or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.
* Master’s Degree preferred
* Certification in CPR and First Aid required.
