This holiday season, give the gift of health! For the fifth year in a row, Brookline residents can get a taste of local gyms and fitness centers without breaking the bank. The Brookline Passport to Health and Fitness Program allows participants to visit up to 10 classes at different local fitness and wellness businesses for only $10. This special offer runs from January through April 2016.

From weight lifting to nutrition classes, the passport program can help bring variety into your usual workout routine. It can also help you meet your New Year’s resolution. Residents can buy the passport for themselves. They also make great gifts for friends and family members. The passports could easily be used for an office Yankee Swap or another holiday gift exchange event.

Modeled after group deals currently popular on the Internet, the program is part of a partnership between local fitness businesses and the Brookline Departments of Public Health and Recreation. Participating partners this year include Coolidge Corner Yoga, Get In Shape for Women, Run Strong Studio, Koko Fit Club, Body & Brain Yoga, Bodily Kneads, Benefitness Health Club, Baby Boot Camp, Karna Fitness, and Harter Strength & Conditioning. A complete list is available online.
