March 4th

An officer was conducting traffics enforcement on Harvard Street when the officer noticed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was operating a vehicle with a suspended license and was placed under arrest.

Officer s responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a residence on VFW Parkway. When officers went inside and inspected the residence, they noticed the door had a couple of pry marks to the door sill. Officers found that each room in the house has been tampered with and some items were stolen. This matter is still under investigation.

Officers responded to a report about a hit and run accident on Pond Avenue involving a yellow school bus. This matter is still under investigation.

March 5th

There was a warrant arrest on Beacon Street. The subject was placed under arrest on a default warrant out of Brookline District Court.

An officer was observing traffic on Harvard Street and noticed a vehicle with a defective break light. The officer pulled the vehicle over. The driver was operating a vehicle after revocation.

March 6th

Police responded to a report of robbery at a local business on Beacon Street. The subject took some items without paying for them. One of the employees of the store confronted the subject about not paying for the item. The subject then became physical and assaulted the employee. The subject was placed under arrest.

Officers responded to a report of a noise complaint. The subject has received a town by-law citation.

March 7th

The victim submitted their tax form to a local business on Harvard Street. The victim was notified by their health insurance that their social security number had been hacked by an unknown person.

An officer was monitoring traffic on Harvard and Beacon Street when the officer noticed a vehicle making an improper left turn. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The subject was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

March 8th

Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Boylston Street. There were no injuries.

March 9th

An officer was observing traffic on Harvard Street and noticed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The subject was placed under arrest on a default warrant out of Framingham District Court.

An officer responded to a report of an identity theft. The victim’s accountant tried to contact them upon filing their federal taxes. The accountant received an error message which indicated that the victim’s taxes were already filed under their social security number. This matter is still under investigation.

March 10th

An officer was conducting a random query on a vehicle on Boylston Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was operating a vehicle with a suspended license and was placed under arrest.

A subject reported that someone opened fraudulent cable account under their name. This matter is still under investigation.

An individual came to the station to report a missing phone. This matter is still under investigation.

Officers responded to a report of a driver on Cypress Street determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest.

March 13th

Officers responded to a report of a shop lifter on Harvard Street. The subject was placed under arrest.

March 14th

Officers responded to a report of a noise complaint on Chestnut Street. The subject received a by-law citation.

Officers observed a vehicle on Commonwealth Avenue parked in the middle of the road. Based on the evidence at the scene, the driver was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest.

An officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft on Longwood Avenue. The subject parked the vehicle overnight and found that it is missing. Officers found the vehicle abandoned in Rhode Island with some damage. This matter is still under investigation.

An officer responded to a fraudulent report on Verndale Street. The employee at the local bank reported an individual cashing fake checks into their bank account. This matter is still under investigation.

An individual came to the police station to report a hit and run accident on Beacon Street. This matter is still under investigation.

March 15th

An officer noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Harvard Street. The driver was placed under arrest on a default warrant out of Westborough District Court.

March 16th

An individual reported some missing items in their bedroom of their apartment on Freeman Street. This matter is still under investigation.

An officer noticed a vehicle failing to stop at a red light on Harvard Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was operating a vehicle with an invalid inspection sticker and invalid license plates.

An officer responded to a report of a missing vehicle on Baker Circle. This matter is still under investigation.
