Excitement is growing as the 2nd Annual Brookline Hub Youth Awards on May 3rd draws near.   The sponsors of this year’s event, the proceeds from which will be directed entirely to the Brookline Teen Center, were just announced.

The Awards will take place at 7pm in the Coolidge Corner Theatre. The event is a community-centric evening open to the public that celebrates the contributions of Brookline’s teens.  Admission is free, and guests are encouraged to make a donations to the Brookline Teen Center during the event.

While the event’s goal is to recognize and encourage teens making a difference, the Youth Awards also support resources that make this possible.  To that end,  numerous organizations and businesses have stepped forward to sponsor the Youth Awards.  All proceeds from their generous sponsorship will be directed to the Brookline Teen Center.

Each sponsor will present an award to a deserving Brookline teen during the ceremony.  This year’s sponsors are :

The daunting task of selecting award recipeints falls upon this year’s Nomination Committee.  Several individuals from Brookline’s schools and business community have volunteered their time to review nominations received online and select the award winners.
