This week’s guest on BrooklineHub In-Depth is Wild Goose Chase owner Beth Venti and her new business partner, Lisa Wisel. The power duo will open the revamped Wild Goose Chase’s doors soon in Coolidge Corner. Lisa Wisel is the owner of VineRipe Grill, which ended its 13-year run at Robert T. Lynch Golf Course this past June. Wisel is also the CEO of the Brookline Chamber of Commerce. Eureka! Puzzles will be relocating into Wild Goose Chase’s old location on Beacon Street, and the new present configuration of Wild Goose Chase will take over the old Eureka! Puzzles spot.
Wild Goose Chase had been a fixture in Coolidge Corner for 45 years until the pandemic and new retailing trends brought the company to what will now be a temporary close. The new operation will be focusing on local artisans. “Beth and I have the same philosophy on the way we treat customers; customers are first. We like to make people feel special,” said Lisa Wisel on the new partnership.
Wild Goose Chase is hoping to re-open by the holiday shopping season.
The interview with Wild Goose Chase’s Beth Venti and Lisa Wisel premieres on “BrooklineHub In-Depth” on Monday, October 11.
