Brookline resident Jane Gilman will lead a Walking Meditation in Larz Anderson
Park on June 11. Gilman has been a student of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh since
2003, and has practiced with Boston Old Path Sangha since 2005. She was ordained by
Thich Nhat Hanh into the Core Community of the Order of Interbeing in 2009.
Walking meditation is a readily accessible way to enhance our physical, mental, and
spiritual well-being. It can be practiced anywhere–in the parking lot, at the
airport, and around the house. It is an opportunity to strengthen our concentration,
and to appreciate the beauty of our bodies in motion.
For more information, please contact Brookline Adult & Community Education,
www.brooklineadulted.org, or 617-730-2700. Tickets are $10. The date of the event is
June 11, 2016 from 10:30 am-12:00 pm at Larz Anderson Park, 15 Newton Street,
Brookline, MA. All levels are welcome.
