DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Mondays (7 wks), Jan 28-Mar 18 (No class Feb 18)

Class Fee: $230, Materials: $30
Build fundamental skills including focus and position of subjects, composition and lighting considerations. Explore basic design problems, exercises in visual elements and the history and development of photography as an art form. Students will also cover the basic principles and techniques of camera use, various photographic materials, processes and techniques for image processing and print production. DSLR camera and laptop required.
PAINTING STYLES AND TECHNIQUES
Saturdays (8 wks), Jan 26-Mar 23 (No class Mar 9)

Class Fee: $260, Materials: $35
Learn the fundamentals of painting, including color mixing, building layers and utilizing various brush strokes. This course explores Plein air painting, still-life, and personal projects. Students will work primarily in oils and also have the chance to try acrylics and watercolors.
