Sen. Elizabeth Warren submitted videos that were viewed at the Brookline Youth Awards on April 27 at the Coolidge Corner Theater, where she focused on the special contributions of our youth and announced the name of the 2016 Brookline Youth of the Year.

Warren’s remarks about the evening, “I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to congratulate the outstanding people who are being honored. Each honoree has made a significant contribution to their community, overcoming adversity and fighting for change in their schools and in their neighborhoods.  They have made a difference in the lives of others. Their hard work makes Brookline and our commonwealth a better place. They make us all proud.”

Warren is currently being vetted as a possible running mate for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.  The senator has also made news recently for getting into verbal and online spats with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
