The Brookline Chamber of Commerce recently held a special after hours networking event honoring Harry Robinson, former Executive Director. The event was held on Monday, September 16th at Barcelona Wine Bar in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Robinson has left the Brookline Chamber after five years as the Executive Director in pursuit of a career in the academic field. He showed much dedication to the growth of the Chamber especially through garnering event participation and recruiting new member businesses. Robinson will now be taking a full time teaching position at Wakefield High School in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Monday’s special farewell event at Barcelona attracted over 65 friends of Robinson and Chamber Member business representatives. With much luck, the day cleared up and the event was held outside on the patio with the sun shining down. Many thanks are warranted to Barcelona Wine Bar, who provided wonderful food and service.

“The event at Barcelona was the perfect way to honor Harry and thank him for his time spent with the Chamber. He was a wonderful Executive Director who was committed to paving the way to the Chamber’s success,” said current Director of Strategic Relationships and Programs, Celinda Shannon, “Harry will be truly missed by all.”

The Brookline Chamber of Commerce holds weekly networking lunches and monthly after hours networking events. For more information on upcoming events, check the Chamber’s website at www.brooklinechamber.com or contact Celinda Shannon at 617-739-1330.
