“Hope & Harmony: A Benefit Concert for North Korean Refugees,” performed by the Boston Korean Chorus, The Korean Church of Boston’s Choir I and the Hwaum Boston Chamber Orchestra, will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Korean Church of Boston (PCUSA) located at 32 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA. The program includes Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” and Faure’s “Requiem.”
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) to help North Korean refugees. A presentation by LiNK will take place at 6 p.m. prior to the concert. This is the second “Hope & Harmony” concert presented by the Boston Korean Chorus (Conductor: Jin Wook Park; Director: Soo Ihn Jang). The proceeds from its first “Hope & Harmony” concert in 2012 were donated to help children in Africa.
