Women Thriving, Inc.’s President and Co-Founder Ann Brackett and Special Advisor and Co-Founder Andrea Johnson have been named 2021 Brookline Women of the Year. The Brookline Commission for Women selected Ann and Andrea and four other 2021 recipients because “they all have risen to meet the extraordinary challenges of our times by marshaling the Brookline community to see, hear, and respond to those challenges effectively and with lasting impact.”
The Women Thriving, Inc. Board of Directors congratulates Ann and Andrea for this well-deserved recognition of their tireless work to provide women with a safe haven to learn, grow, and find their voices. There would be no Women Thriving without Ann and Andrea’s visionary and dedicated leadership, and we are immensely grateful for their compassion and caring. During the pandemic, the Board witnessed their enduring and passionate commitment to helping people as they found creative and impactful ways to meet the overwhelming need in the community and successfully pivoting and expanding to provide digital services and programming.
The Women Thriving Community stands together to congratulate Ann and Andrea on receiving this award and to say a heartfelt “thank you” for all they have done to make Women Thriving an inclusive and supportive community where women thrive. If you are interested in joining to celebrate Ann and Andrea, and the four other Women of the Year, you are all welcome to a virtual event on Wednesday, April 28th from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. You can register here for the Event.
